yes, I went to the bank yesterday to get a CD and they said, as long as the fed is giving money away at 1/10 of a percent interest, they really did'nt need my money from any other bank. They get all their cash from the FEd when they need it.

great, first they played with the stock market, now they are playing with the bond market,,,,all with taxpayer dollars.....these guys need to be replaced...they don't understand....no body wants to borrow money for items they don't need...including real estate.

I am so glad I did not vote for any of these idiots who voted for this bail-out. All the folks who laid off their employees and got a bonus should give it back or get under some public scrutiny as soon as possible. That would be some justice.

Stop with the "free money". All money comes with strings attached. We past into socialism when this republican President and his Treasury started giving money away without holding the recepients responsible. Now it is time to stop.

Why are we still listening to these jerks....they are the ones who got us into this mess. Paulson should be jailed for any complicity in this matter. He was most probably bought, hook line and sinker. why does more lending at such a large scale make anything better.
